Kings Blood River
There is a larger story behind the King’s Blood River. It will be posted in the future as time permits…
The King’s Blood river is colored red. Dead leaves ladden with crimson sap flutter downward from tall wintering Red Oaks, they settle quietly into the regal river below. The dead leaves float silently and leak their crimson sap into the water, the sap forms tiny pools of emulsified blood-red droplets that radiate in eliptical patterns. Thousands of these minute blood-like globules join together to seemingly pave the river in what appears to be a sea of blood.
